By creating an account, accessing, or using Parentic, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Parentic account. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• All information you provide is accurate and truthful
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To use Parentic, you must create an account using email/password, Apple OAuth, or Google OAuth. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

3.3 One Account Per Person

Each user may maintain only one account. You may not create accounts for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.

4. Permitted Use

Parentic is a family coordination platform designed to help parents, co-parents, and trusted supporters organize schedules, actions, and family responsibilities. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or intimidate other users
• Upload or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or offensive
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or systems
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the Service to send spam, phishing attempts, or malicious content
• Collect or harvest personal information about other users without consent
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without authorization

6. User Content

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or share through Parentic ("User Content"), including calendar events, actions, notes, photos, and other information. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

6.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to share the content
• Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• Your content does not contain viruses, malware, or harmful code
• You have obtained necessary consents to share information about others (including children)

6.3 Content Monitoring

We do not actively monitor User Content but reserve the right to review, remove, or disable access to content that violates these Terms or applicable laws. We may also remove content if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

6.4 Backup Your Data

While we implement backup systems, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data. We are not liable for loss or corruption of User Content.

7. Network and Invitations

Parentic allows you to invite and connect with family members and trusted supporters. You agree to:

• Only invite individuals who have consented to join your network
• Respect the privacy and preferences of network members
• Not use invitations for spam or unsolicited marketing
• Manage access permissions appropriately to protect sensitive information

Network members are responsible for their own use of the Service and must comply with these Terms.

8. Fees and Payment

8.1 Free and Paid Services

Parentic offers both free and paid features. We may introduce subscription plans or premium features in the future. Any fees will be clearly disclosed before you incur charges.

8.2 Payment Terms

If you purchase a paid subscription:

• You agree to pay all applicable fees
• Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
• Refunds are subject to our refund policy (available upon request)
• We may change pricing with reasonable notice

You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.

9. Intellectual Property

The Parentic platform, including its design, features, code, logos, trademarks, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Quadragon Ltd and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9.2 Trademarks

"Parentic" and related logos are trademarks of Quadragon Ltd. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

9.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use and incorporate such feedback without compensation or attribution.

10. Third-Party Services

Parentic may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Apple/Google OAuth, calendar sync, map providers). Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

11.1 "AS IS" Service

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUADRAGON LTD, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11.3 Medical and Legal Disclaimer

Parentic is a coordination tool and does not provide medical, legal, or professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals for such matters. We are not responsible for decisions made based on information stored in or accessed through the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Quadragon Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
• Your User Content

13. Termination

13.1 Your Right to Terminate

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@parentic.app. Upon termination, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13.2 Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your use poses a security risk or legal liability
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Your account is inactive for an extended period
• We discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice)

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.

14.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Quadragon Ltd is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes not resolved informally may be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, as required by local law.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Quadragon Ltd regarding the Service.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

15.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

15.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, war, pandemics, internet outages).
